Jamie Thurston Wyngaard

Jamie Thurston Wyngaard is a multi-award-winning entrepreneur, innovator and thought leader with a diverse background spanning biotechnology, media and fintech. As Co-Founder and Chief Experience Officer of Loop, he has transformed the African mobility sector by integrating technology-driven, cashless payment solutions, and pioneering corporate mobility-as-a-service offerings.

Jamie has leveraged design thinking and agile business validation to develop scalable, customer-centric models that enhance operational efficiency and social impact. He is recognised for his contributions to mobile and financial inclusion and youth entrepreneurship, including co-creating Feenix.org, which has raised over R204 million to support students. He has also earned numerous accolades, some of which include UWC Student Achiever of the Year (2011), JCI Ten Outstanding Young Persons Award for Business and Economics (2023), as well as 40 Under 40 Africa and Global.
