Is a South African-born style mentor, personal shopper, motivational speaker, and fashion & lifestyle influencer. With a career that began in 1999, Marilize has become one of South Africa’s most respected voices in style and personal transformation. 

Her journey started as a fashion consultant for YDE, followed by work with renowned designer house Hip-Hop, and later as a personal shopper for Fabiani — experiences that built the foundation for her distinctive approach to style: confident, timeless, and authentic. 

Marilize’s influence expanded into television, appearing regularly on Top Billing since 2008, where she became known for her expertise across all facets of fashion and styling. She also earned the title of “Style Maestro” as My Top Billing Dream Stylist, and made notable appearances on Pasella, All Access, and Expresso, where she shared her talent through on-air makeovers and interviews. 

Today, Marilize continues to empower women through her AGELess Style platform — a movement celebrating confidence, identity, and elegance at every stage of life. Through her digital presence on Instagram @marilizedc, she collaborates with leading fashion and beauty brands including H&M, Dior Beauty, Terre Paisible, The Laser Lab etc. blending editorial storytelling with modern femininity.
