Nafisah Abrahams

Born and raised in Mitchell’s Plain, Cape Town, Nafisah Abrahams has dedicated her career to shaping Africa’s innovation and startup ecosystem connecting people, ideas, and opportunities that drive growth across the continent.
After beginning her career in finance and operations, Nafisah found her calling in the world of startups and technology. At MEST Africa, she managed operations and led the Cape Town hub of the Pan-African incubator, supporting founders, building networks, and curating spaces where startups could thrive.

Her ecosystem journey has since spanned roles at Ten Lifestyle Group, WomHub, and AfricArena, where she served as Head of Content and Chief of Staff helping scale one of Africa’s leading platforms connecting high-growth startups with global investors and corporates.

In addition to her work at Loop as chief of growth & engagement , Nafisah also runs her own consulting firm, providing strategy, partnership, and ecosystem development advisory services to startups, corporates, and investors across Africa.

Known for her ability to bring the right people together, Nafisah is passionate about strengthening collaboration across Africa’s tech ecosystem and building pathways for founders, investors, and enablers to thrive together.
