Christina Thakor-Rankin

Is a renowned expert and thought leader in the gambling and iGaming industry. In addition to her work in the iGaming industry, she is a co-founder of All-in, an organisation that works to promote diversity, equity and inclusion. She is also the author of the BSI international standard for workplace DEI and the CEO of simpal.ai, a female led tech start-up helping organisations harness the power of AI and autonomous applications. She is a regular speaker at industry conferences and events and is recognised for her contribution to the industry, she also holds a number of non-exec and advisory roles across a number of sectors and is a serving ISO committee member. 

What excites you about being a part of the WomenIN AdBoard? 

What doesn’t excite me would be the better question! Nonetheless, two big reasons for me are: 

1. So often ‘Women In’ networks operate in sector silos, focusing on those who have already ‘made it, or end up becoming a vehicle for self-promotion. To come across one that leaves egos at the door and is literally open to everyone irrespective of age, background, industry or where they are in their journey isn’t just refreshing, it’s essential.
   2. The leaders of tomorrow are the new starters of today. By ensuring that we support women from day one, we won’t just help nurture and develop talent, we can create opportunities, open doors, and most importantly, keep the pipeline moving.

Why is it important for women to Collaborate? 

The world of work is more complicated today than ever before, making the challenges faced by women in the workplace more complex and isolating than ever before. There’s nothing worse than feeling like you are alone or having to deal with a difficult situation on your own. By working together and sharing our experiences, we can break that cycle. This is especially true with additional practical help, support, education, advice and guidance. Sometimes it’s as simple as knowing you are not alone or that someone has your back. This network allows us to have every woman’s back.
