Lindi Goosen

Lindi Goosen is a recently graduated civil engineer from the University of Pretoria and is currently working at the Gautrain Management Agency (GMA) in the Business Planning team. In her current role, she supports strategic commercial initiatives aimed at generating non-fare revenue to reduce reliance on provincial funding. Focusing on self-sustainability, economic viability and commercial growth of public transport systems.

Her work at the GMA has fuelled a deep interest in financial sustainability within the public transport sector, where she aims to contribute to long-term solutions that balance economic viability with environmental and social responsibility. Beyond her engineering background, Lindi has developed a strong interest in property development and investment. She recognizes the significant role that infrastructure plays in shaping urban landscapes and driving economic development.

Through her work, she hopes to explore how transport infrastructure can be integrated with property development to create thriving, sustainable communities. Looking ahead, Lindi plans to pursue an MBA to broaden her understanding of business strategy, leadership, and finance.

She is committed to growing her expertise at the intersection of engineering, business, and investment, with the goal of driving innovation and financial sustainability in both the transport and property development sectors. Her ambition is to be a leader in creating solutions that not only improve transportation but also enhance the quality of life for communities.
