The Founder and CEO

Ronel Botes was born 15 June 1971, and is the founder and CEO of Touch by Africa Pty Ltd. Over more than 20 years she has worked as a therapist, spa owner, corporate wellness coach, spa consultant, national sales manager and assistant product developer at a medium to large producer.

Working in different fields and at both ends of the supply chain when it comes to both services and production, she found a lack of ‘new ideas’ in a stagnated industry with a lot of the same old same old.

From there comes the inspiration to create something unique, ethical and local. Inspired by Africa, its fauna and flora, sounds and smells, she has created an organic, vegan friendly local brand of body and face care, as well as a hospitality range.
