WIMSA

Women in Mining South Africa (WiMSA) is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization founded in 2010 to empower and support women in the South African mining industry. Operating independently through sponsorships, WiMSA provides a free platform that promotes personal growth, leadership, and career development for women in this traditionally male-dominated sector. The organization focuses on creating opportunities that help women advance professionally while fostering a strong sense of community and collaboration within the mining industry.

WiMSA achieves its mission by organizing events such as the annual WiMSA Symposium, speed networking sessions, mentoring programs, and professional development workshops.
