Carrol Boyes to showcase its new range at WomenIN Festival

Janine is an award-winning executive who has an international track working alongside CEO’s, small business founders and senior leadership teams to drive business performance, customer experience and digital transformation. Passionate about People, Product and Brand. After her Mechanical Engineering degree from UCT, she executed significant process change in her role at Unilever, as the first female Engineer. Alongside the milestone operational efficiency uplift, she says her proudest moment was obtaining the budget to renovate the kitchens and bathrooms at the factory in Boksburg. Her studies have supported her career advancements - a PDBA from GIBS, an MBA from Cambridge Judge Business school as Nelson Mandela scholar - she joined a global rotation cohort and stepped into her Director role at Barclays in London at age 30. She has had hands-on experience with digital UX/UI enhancements, used data to drive large-scale ‘paperless initiatives’ during her 10 year tenure in financial services. More recently, she has made strides to implement CX and Mar-tech tools (from scratch) to deliver strategic top-line growth for retail brands; Homechoice and now at Carrol Boyes, a luxury retail business in South Africa. In her Exco role at present, she currently leads the Product, Sales (Digital and Wholesale) and Marketing functions. Her most recent award is for Best Brand for Takealot 2024.
